Statutory and Mandatory Training in the NHSIt is generally accepted that there is a shortage of good information about Statutory and Mandatory training in the NHS and even more so regarding the use of e-Learning in its delivery. This gap is being addressed by the NHS Core Learning Unit (CLU) based in York, which delivers online Statutory and Mandatory training to NHS Trusts and other organisations. They have now commissioned independent research aiming to assess the current funding and provision of Statutory and Mandatory training in all regions. The CLU is a resource that has been invested in and paid for by the NHS, and the results of this research will help both to plug the information gap and to determine how the unit's work will be taken forward. So how can you help? By following the instructions below you will be able to complete the online survey component of the research. It should take no more than 20-30 minutes to complete. The CLU would like responses to be received no later than 27 October if possible. They are also undertaking telephone interviews with willing volunteers. This will take no more than 20 minutes, at a time arranged to be convenient for you. If you feel you can help with this as well, please let us know through the relevant part of the online questionnaire. (You may already have heard of the research as it has been running for two months now, but if you have not already responded, it would still be useful for you to complete the survey.) Please follow the following instructions to complete the survey.
The CLU is looking forward to hearing your views. Don’t forget that if you respond to the survey, the CLU will share their research findings with you. If you have any questions you can contact Richard Bason who is coordinating the research on behalf of the CLU, at richardbason@basons.plus.com |
